Why should I sealcoat? Cost savings is the major reason to sealcoat. In addition to making any asphalt surface look new and more attractive, sealcoat inhibits asphalt erosion. Sealcoat can help spare you the cost of expensive asphalt repairs if your asphalt cracks and starts deteriorating.
How often should I sealcoat? On average, it is best that asphalt surfaces get sealcoated every 3-5 years. Of course, this depends on specific asphalt uses and/or traffic patterns.
